Land Trust Standards and Practices: Interpretation and Application of the 2004 Revisions for Quasi-Land Trust Standards and Practices: Interpretation and Application of the 2004 Revisions for Quasi-Governmental Conservation Organizations not Recognized as a Tax-Exempt Organization Under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code” (2007) follows the Land Trust Alliance research report on quasi-governmental conservation organizations published last October. This booklet provides interpretation and further clarification of specific standards and practices so that they adequately address the unique circumstances of quasi-governmental entities that hold conservation easements or own land for conservation purposes.
